The Star Hose
Company was
housed in a
single bay
wooden garage
located on North
Main St. across
from the current
fire station.
That building
was moved and is
still in use as
a garage behind
the residence of
Dr. Jean Hafner
at 16 E. Church
St . The three
individual
companies each
held separate
meetings and
then came
together and
held a joint
meeting as the
Adams Fire Dept.
Some time about
60 years ago the
separate company
meetings were
dropped and all
business was
done by the
combined
organization. |
